We are thrilled to announce that Magelan Serbia has been granted support through the EU project SMARTER AOE, a remarkable initiative aimed at developing sustainable tourism in the European Amazon area, recently declared the world’s first 5-country biosphere reserve. This unique region stretches across the Danube, Drava, and Mura rivers, spanning five countries in the heart of Europe.
Thanks to this support, we are excited to introduce new tour programs promoting responsible tourism, local culture, and nature conservation. One of our signature tours takes you to Bački Monoštor, a charming village located within the Upper Danube Special Nature Reserve, part of the European Amazon. This village is notable not only for its natural beauty but also for its rich history.
