1 day – Belgrade, Nikola Tesla Airport - Novi Sad

If you would like us to arrange a private transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport, please indicate the arrival/departure times and the airline. Transfer to the hotel in Novi Sad. Group gathering at the hotel in Novi Sad at 17:00, followed by a walking tour through the city downtown. Overnight in a 4* hotel in the city center.

2 day - Fruška gora (jeep tour - OPTIONAL) - Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad 

After breakfast, visit the impressive Petrovaradin Fortress, and enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Danube River from the fortress walls. 

As an optional activity, you can choose a jeep tour through Fruška Gora, featuring four hours of exploring its attractive viewpoints. You can visit the Krušedol and Velika Remeta monasteries (or other monasteries, upon agreement), discover their history, and enjoy the natural beauty of Fruška Gora. Lunch at the "Forest Paradise" restaurant near the Velika Remeta monastery. Instead of the optional jeep tour, we can visit these two monasteries by bus, have lunch, and then continue to Sremski Karlovci.

Sremski Karlovci, a town known for its historical and wine-making significance. We’ll tour the town center, visit the Cathedral Church (free entrance), and head to a wine tasting at one of the most awarded wineries in Serbia. Among other wines, you'll have the chance to try Bermet, a unique wine specific to this area. Return to Novi Sad. Overnight stay at a hotel.

3 day - Walking through steps 

Sremska Mitrovica - Zasavica - Sunčana reka – House of the Drina - Tara 

Breakfast. We're leaving the hotel and heading to Sremska Mitrovica - Sirmium, one of the 4 Roman capitals. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a guided walking tour and visit significant local sites. We'll explore the ancient sites of Sirmium and the Museum of Srem, which, in terms of the richness, value, and rarity of its exhibits, is among the most significant institutions of its kind in the country.

We'll continue our journey and arrive at the Zasavica Special Nature Reserve. Here, you'll get to know the wonderful world of nature, feed old breeds of Balkan animals. A walk through pastures where cattle (heritage breeds) graze and among wild horses (over 100 of them). In addition to exploring the reserve, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a boat ride through the reserve and experience its natural beauty from a different perspective.

You'll also have the opportunity to purchase the most expensive cheese in the world or numerous natural products such as creams or soaps made from goat or donkey milk. Free time for lunch at Zasavica. 

Continuation of the road with stop in a restaurant where we will take a break for coffee and enjoy the view of the Drina river, and then continue to Bajina Bašta. Here we will stop at the famous house on the Drina and then continue to Tara. Arrival at the hotel. Free time.

4 day – Walking in the mountain - Tara  – Zaovina  – Banjska stena  

After breakfast depart from Tara to the enchanting mountain village Zaovina and the lake of the same name. You will enjoy the interesting story about Pančić's fir tree, beautiful nature, and the even more beautiful viewpoint - Banjska stena. We continue to the Goat Rock viewpoint, from where there is a wonderful view of the Drina River Canyon, Perućac Lake and Kozja Stena, which leaves no one indifferent. We will take a break in a local restaurant with free time to enjoy traditional food.

If time allows, we will visit Crveni potok Nature Reserve – one of the oldest peat bogs in Serbia, a unique natural archive hidden in the forests of Tara.

Free time and overnight at the hotel.

5 day - Šargan Eight - Mećavnik - Tara

Departure to the village of Mokra Gora, where we will take some time to explore the picturesque village and its surroundings. We will enjoy a short walk and have some free time for coffee before boarding the train that will take us through the "Šargan eight" climbing up the Šargan hill.

We will pass through 22 tunnels, over 5 bridges, overcoming a height difference of 300 m in a total distance of only 15,440 m, all with breathtaking views. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of this area from one of the five viewpoints and take great photos. After the train ride, we’ll have lunch at a restaurant at the Šargan Eight railway station.

After lunch, we will visit Mećavnik (Drvengrad), a unique traditional village built by film director Emir Kusturica. We will explore its charming wooden houses, streets, and cultural landmarks before continuing our journey.

We will continue our journey to beautiful National Park Tara where we will spend the rest of the day in the heart of nature. Overnight in hotel.

6 day – Transfer Day, Scenic Views & River Cruise

Zlakusa - Potpeć Cave - Ovčar Kablar - Aranđelovac

Breakfast. We continue our journey to the village of Zlakusa, the pottery capital of the Balkans, where clay and calcite vessels have been handcrafted for three centuries. This unique pottery tradition is inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Here, we will visit Terzić's Courtyard - an ethno park preserving traditional and ethnological heritage. Our route then leads us to Potpeć Cave, known for having the highest cave entrance in the Balkans. The cave is rich in formations and is notable for the Petnica River, which flows from within. We’ll take a coffee break in the charming setting of a small restaurant in front of the cave. 

We then proceed to an unspoiled region of exceptional natural beauty, reaching a rural household at the foot of Mount Kablar. Here, we will pause for lunch. After lunch, we’ll enjoy a relaxing catamaran ride along the West Morava River (optional), taking in the beautiful scenery and the distinctive meanders of the river from a different perspective. We then continue with a short forest trail to a newly built viewpoint at the summit of Kablar, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the West Morava River meanders. The journey continues to Aranđelovac, a town of cultural and historical significance. Accommodation will be at the 5-star Hotel Izvor. Dinner at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

7 day Aranđelovac - Free day Full board SUNDAY

Breakfast. A day for prayer, a walk through the park, and relaxation in the hotel’s spa center. Lunch and dinner at the hotel are included in the price.

8 day - Serbian royal family 

Topola - Oplenac - Karađorđev vajat - Belgrade 

Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. We head to Topola, a charming town in the heart of Šumadija and an important place in Serbia’s modern history. We make a short visit to Karađorđe’s Town, associated with Karađorđe and the First Serbian Uprising.

We then continue to Oplenac Hill, home to the impressive Church of St. George, the mausoleum of the Karađorđević royal dynasty. Surrounded by parkland and forest, the church is famous for its spectacular mosaics, made from around 40 million pieces in 15,000 shades. Inside, the crypt holds the remains of 25 members of the royal family, including King Peter II. We will also visit the House of King Peter I the Liberator, now home to a museum gallery dedicated to the royal dynasty.

Next, we head to the Royal Winery for a wine tasting and an introduction to the region’s long winemaking tradition. The historic wine press from the king’s time and some of the oldest barrels, including those given as a wedding gift to King Aleksandar I and Queen Maria, are still preserved here.

We then head to Orašac, where we will have a traditional Serbian lunch at Karađorđev Vajat, an ethnic tavern and collection of traditional cottages on a hill above the village.

After lunch, we continue to Belgrade. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel, followed by free time to explore the city and enjoy the evening at your own pace. Overnight stay.

9 day – Belgrade

Breakfast. We begin the day with a panoramic and walking tour of Belgrade, accompanied by a guide. We will explore the heart of the city, starting with the green Kalemegdan Park and the historic fortress overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. We will take a leisurely walk through the area, enjoying some of the city's most beautiful views while discovering its numerous historical monuments, gates, and buildings.

From Kalemegdan, we continue along Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade's main pedestrian zone, lined with historic buildings, elegant shops, and street musicians. The street leads us to Republic Square (Trg Republike), the central square and one of the main meeting points in the city.

We then make our way to Skadarlija, Belgrade's famous bohemian quarter and one of the city's most recognizable symbols. Skadarlija became a bohemian gathering place in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when actors, writers, and painters moved into the area and its traditional taverns became meeting places for some of Belgrade's most prominent cultural figures. Today, its restaurants preserve a taste of this bohemian atmosphere, offering traditional Serbian cuisine accompanied by old-time music. Break for lunch.

After lunch, we continue to Vračar and the imposing Temple of Saint Sava (Hram Svetog Save), one of the three largest Orthodox Christian churches in the world. We will enjoy a guided tour of the temple with a local guide, learning more about its history, architecture, and significance, before returning to the hotel.

Free time. Overnight stay.

10 day – EXPO 2027 Belgrade 

Breakfast. Transfer to the EXPO 2027 site. Explore the international pavilions, thematic exhibitions, cultural performances, sports events, and interactive experiences under the theme “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All.” Free time for lunch and further discovery. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

11 day – Free day in Belgrade / EXPO 2027

Breakfast. Free day to continue exploring EXPO 2027, Belgrade or choose an optional excursion:

  • Đerdap National Park – drive through the Iron Gates gorge with a stop at Golubac Fortress
  • Subotica & Palić – Art Nouveau architecture in Subotica and free time by Lake Palić
  • Slankamen with a short boat ride and lunch

Overnight in Belgrade.

12 day – Belgrade, Nikola Tesla Airport

The travel organizer reserves the right to adjust prices, modify the itinerary, or cancel the trip at the latest 30 days before the start of the journey. Upon receipt of the payment instruction, a 30% advance payment must be made within 48 hours, and the rest 21 days before the trip. For reservations made 21 days before the trip, the entire amount must be paid in full within 24 hours of receiving the final confirmation and payment instruction. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive an email confirming that your payment has been received, and 2 days before departure, you will receive all additional information regarding your trip.
